Gunshot victim dropped off at hospital

MOULTRIE, Ga. — An assault victim who showed up Sunday night at the hospital was treated for a gunshot wound.

Quantavius Patillo, 21, was dropped off at Colquitt Regional Medical Center at about 9:59 p.m. The driver did not accompany Patillo inside and left after he got out of the car.

Hospital personnel called police.

The shooting occurred at the Shy Manor apartment complex in Northwest Moultrie, Moultrie Police Department Sgt. Shavarye Anderson said. Patillo was shot in the abdomen.

As of Monday afternoon there were no suspects and the shooting remains under investigation, Anderson said.

No report on Patillo’s condition was available on Monday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

• Shamera Lanique Putnam, 22, 404 Seventh St. S.W., was charged Friday with driving under the influence, child restraint violation, possession of marijuana and endangering a child under 14 by driving under the influence.

• Montolia Lamar Perkins, 40, 1605 Schley Ave., Albany, was charged with driving with suspended or revoked license.

• Vance Ervin Cuff Jr., 29, 521 Fourth Court N.W., was charged Sunday with driving while tag suspended, failure to drive within single lane and no insurance.

• Ramirez Silverstre Anbrosio, 28, Mexico, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, expired or no driver’s license and failure to drive within single lane.

• James Lee Roberts, 63, 2650 Municipal Way, Tallahassee, was charged Sunday with battery, obstruction or interference with a 911 call and probation violation.

• Chad Duain Lasseter, 30, 738 Funston-Sale City Road, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence and failure to drive within single lane.

• Lonnie C. Walker Jr., 41, was charged Saturday with giving false information or false name to police officer, expired or no license, window tint violation and probation violation.

• Demetrick Jermaine Spann, 18, 1108 15th St. S.E., was charged Friday with failure to appear.

• James Lamar Edwards, 47, 908 Barbara Circle, was charged Friday with failure to yield when turning left and driving while license withdrawn.

• Courtney Collura, Norman Park, reported Friday that someone made charges totaling $450 to $500 on her debit card account.

• Keva Sneed, 3000 block Sylvester Drive, reported Friday that a female relative used her SSI benefits card on several occasions without permission.

• Joseph Matthews, 300 block Matthews Road, Norman Park, reported Friday that a scammer who claimed to be from a federal agency tried to scam him out of money.

Matthews told police that the caller claimed to be from the Internal Revenue Service and told him that he would be arrested unless he sent in a payment of $280.

The caller instructed that Matthews send the money via iTunes. He was suspicious and when he asked more questions the call was terminated. Matthews did not hear back from the scammer.
