ALBANY – Having some fun on the basketball court Saturday, Colquitt County High’s girls rolled by Dougherty High on the road 61-20.

First, it was getting the foul shooitng straightened out, and that was a 60 percent in Albany.

Then …

“I told them to go out and have some fun,” said coach Rondesha Williams. “The last couple of games we were tense and uptight. I said just go out and do what you know how to do, play basketball. We moved the ball around and hit some open looks.”

Za’Nautica Downs scored a game-high 19 points as the only Lady Packer in double figures scoring. Diamond Hall and Tionna Hunt each scored nine. Three chipped in six points: Naia Benefield, Akia Sutton and Jeniah Ellis.
