Tommy Tierra Roberts was arrested in connections with Shirlene Marshall's death.

JENNINGS, Fla. — A third person has been arrested in connected to the death of Shirlene Marshall, according to Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid.

According to Reid, Tommy Tierra Roberts, 32, of Lake Park, Ga., was arrested on May 17 and charged with burglary and arson. 

Marshall’s body was discovered in her charred home in Jennings on Sept. 13 and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. 

Jonard Banks and Isa Dean, both of Charlton County, Ga., were arrested and charged with arson and burglary in September.

A grand jury later indicted Banks and Dean with first-degree murder.

Investigators believed they entered Marshall’s home intending to steal drugs.

According to Reid, Roberts was arrested after the two defendants implicated Roberts.

Reid could not release any further information at this time in how Roberts was involved.
