ALBANY, Ga. — An Albany television station is reporting that a Colquitt County teen wounded in a shoot-out in Dougherty County in June has been arrested in the case.
WALB.com reports that 19-year-old Randy Lee of Colquitt County made his first appearance before a Dougherty County judge Thursday, at which he was formally charged with aggravated assault and gun crimes.
Investigators said that on June 3, Lee and another man tried to rob the clerk at the Fast Lane convenience store on Sylvester Road and exchanged gunshots with the clerk, according to the WALB report.
Both men were shot.
Lee sought treatment at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was arrested there, WALB said. He was transferred from Colquitt County to Dougherty County Thursday.
