HAHIRA — Mr. and Mrs. Ken Morey of Hahira, Ga., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Catherine, to Whitney Ross Benton. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David Benton of Doerun.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenny and Joyce Morey of Hahira, Ga., and Don and Patsy Hodge of Cordele, Ga.

She is a 2013 graduate of Lowndes County High School and is currently attending college in Valdosta, pursing her career as a registered nurse.

The future groom is the grandson of Gene and Annie Benton of Cairo, Ga., and Linda Stringer of Cairo, Ga., and the late Fred Stringer.

He is a 2010 graduate of Colquitt County High School and a 2014 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Ga., with degree in diversified agriculture.

The wedding with take place on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Doerun.
