MOULTRIE – Franklin and Elaine Parker of Moultrie are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Kellie Parker of Newnan to Kelly Henderson, also of Newnan. He is the son of Larry Henderson of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Susan Henderson of John’s Creek, Ga.

The bride-elect the granddaughter of the late Haywood and Myrtle Parker of Moultrie and Ada Jo Dowling of Marietta and the late William Dowling.

She is a 2002 graduate of Colquitt County High School. She graduated from Valdosta State University in 2008 with a B.A. in English.

She is employed as the marketing coordinator for Redmond Machinery in Newnan.

The future groom is the grandson of Marhl Lee Welch of John’s Creek, Ga., and the late Katherine Bigelow, and Arnetta Henderson of Mexico Beach, Fla., and the late William F. Henderson.

He is a 2001 graduate of Centennial High School. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. In 2011, he graduated from the University of Alabama with a Juris Doctor degree. He is a public defender with the Coweta Judicial Circuit.

The wedding will be held on September 26, 2015, at the Beach Roost in Panama City, Fla.
