Doile honored by Pop Warner Football

- Joshua Doile, a member of the Pop Warner Football South Georgia Hawgs, has received national recognition for his academic excellence. Doile was named second team All-American by Pop Warner Football. He was one of 12 students selected from the South Georgia area. Award-winners are chosen from a pool of more than 15,000 youngsters nationwide. Only a small percentage are selected and the South Georgia Hawgs were pleased to send Doile and his family to San Diego, Calif., to receive the award. The award was another goal accomplished by the South Georgia Hawgs. The goals were having a child recognized at the National Awards Banquet, winning the state title and going to the Pop Warner Super Bowl, all of which have now been attained. On May 22, Doile, accompanied by his mother Samantha Doile, took the all-expenses paid trip to San Diego, where he received his award from Jon Butler, Pop Warner Football’s Executive Director.
