MOULTRIE — Steve and Cindy Walsh of Moultrie are proud to announce the engagement of their son Connor Jared Walsh of Moultrie to Victoria Lee Sokolove of Atlanta. She is the daughter of David and Linda Sokolove of Ball Ground.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Stan and Dee Palinski of Ormond Beach, Fla.

She is a 2010 graduate of Creekside High School in Canton, Ga., and graduated from Berry College in Rome in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

She is attending the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta and anticipates graduating with a Masters of Public Health, Epidemiology in May 2016.

The future groom is the grandson of Wayne and Judy Taylor of Moultrie and Bill Walsh of Macon and the late Beverly Walsh.

He is a 2011 graduate of Colquitt County High School and graduated in May 2015 from Berry College in Rome with a Bachelor of Science of Biochemistry.

He will enter the Pharm. D. program at the Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta this fall.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 1 at Gin Creek in Moultrie.
