A Florida man was arrested Wednesday when police dispatched to his ex-girlfriend’s residence found him inside wrapped in a towel after she had refused to let him in to take a shower.

Lorrie Davis told officers that Wayne Kyle Morris showed up at about 6:25 p.m. to her residence in the 400 block of Newsom Road and asked her to let him in.

When police arrived she was in the front yard. She reported that when she refused his request he used an object to force open the back door. When he came in, she went out through the front door.

Officers entered the residence, and after finding Morris wrapped in a towel ordered him to get dressed.  Questioned about how he got inside, Morris admitted forcing his way inside, police said.

Officers found damage to the back door near the lock.

Davis told police that she and Morris had lived together in the past but that they broke up in May at which time he moved to Florida.

Morris, E 795 Cypress Street, Tarpon Springs, was charged with criminal trespass.
