MOULTRIE—  Mark and Kelli Thomas of Moultrie, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaci Jerilyn, to Adam Michael Childers, of Moultrie, formerly of Perry, Ga. He is the son of Kim Childers and Dinah Childers of Perry, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Arnold and Sally Thomas, of Moultrie, and Ms. Voncile Peacock and the late Jerry Peacock, of Moultrie.

A 2008 graduate of Colquitt County High School, she received an associate’s degree in nursing, in 2011, from Southwest Georgia Technical College in Thomasville.

She is currently a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

The future groom is the grandson of Idumea Childers, Sara Childers, and the late K.D. Childers, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Coody.

A 2005 graduate of The Westfield School in Perry, Ga., he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance, in 2010, from Georgia Southern University, in Stateboro, Ga., and is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity.  He is a banking officer at South Georgia Banking Company.
