Giles, Beasley engagement

MOULTRIE — Amy Allegood of Sale City, Ga., and Michael and Lynne Giles, of Cordele, Ga., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Giles, to Jessie Howard Beasley III. He is the son of Karen and the late Jessie “Rocky” Howard Beasley, Jr., of Doerun.

The bride-elect s the granddaughter of Lawrence and Lois Allegood of Doerun, Jan Cumming of Moultrie, Lee and Diane Bates of Leesburg, and the late Roy and Mildred Giles.

A 2010 graduate of Colquitt County High School, she received an associate’s degree in History, in 2013, and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. She also received an associate’s degree in Medical Business Administration from Moultrie Technical College in Moultrie. She is currently a secretary at the Colquitt Shopper.

The future groom is the grandson of David and Barbara Kemp of Orange Park, Fla., and Joann and the late Jessie Howard Beasley, Sr., of Doerun.

A 2006 graduate of Worth County High School, he received a degree in welding, in 2007, from Moultrie Technical College in Moultrie. He is currently lead welder at Tyson Steel, in Doerun.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Friz Farm in Cordele.
