Downtown merchants will offer discounts to women on shopping and dining for two hours tonight during the second annual “Ladies Night Out” on the square.

“This event is designed to give ladies a convenient opportunity to shop and dine while supporting local merchants and eateries,” said Bill  Harrison, president of the Downtown Moultrie Association. “School starts next week, so this is a perfect opportunity for great deals on clothing, shoes, jewelry and about anything else you may need or want before the new school year begins.”

Participating downtown shops and restaurants will offer special prices from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. with one-night deals on the square.

“The Downtown Moultrie Association appreciates your business,” Harrison said. “When you shop and dine locally, you help our community prosper by putting your hard-earned money right back into our local economy. 

“As a bonus, you’ll also get to spend time strolling around one of the most beautiful courthouse squares in Georgia.”
