The Colquitt County 50th Regiment Band is preparing for the coming school year and has been getting in shape this week on the practice field behind the high school. The band again will perform at football games this season and Packer fans will get to see and hear the 50th Regiment’s 2014-2015 edition at Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium for the first time on Friday, Aug. 29, when Colquitt County plays host to Hoover (Ala.) High.
