Colquitt Christian Academy pays tribute to local “Silent Warriors”

MOULTRIE – Under the leadership of Dr. Nestor Colls, Head of School and retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel, Colquitt Christian Academy paid tribute to the “Silent Warriors” within the community.
The event, which recognized the “Silent Warriors,” featured a celebration including songs and student-authored tributes dedicated to the veterans in their lives. The school presented a Challenge Coin to each veteran. It symbolized the school’s gratitude for their invaluable contributions.
Retired US Marines Lt. Colonel Paul Nagy delivered the keynote address. It emphasized to the students, faculty, families, and guests that the greatest compliment that can be paid to veterans is “protecting and respecting the Republic.”
He advocated for a life characterized by gratitude and service. He also reminded attendees of the collective power to effect positive change within their communities and the lives of those around them.
