Live Oak Missionary Baptist to hold revival

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, located at 501 8th Street N.W., will be having its Spring Revival Tuesday, March 11 through Thursday, March 13, 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker is the Rev. Norman Clary.

Clary was born in Tallahassee, Fla., to Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clary and he was educated in the Leon County School system. He is married to Evangelist Joyce Clary.

He joined the Armed Forces in 1974, from which he later retired. He attended Tallahassee Community College, where he graduated with honors He also attended the C. H. Manson Bible Institute. He is now attending Thomas University pursuing a master’s degree in society work.

He accepted his calling in the ministry in 1990 and has served as a pastor for more than 22-1/2 years. He and his wife are currently serving as the pastor and first lady of the Mt. Moriah M.B.C., which is located in Boston, Ga. He is also the moderator of the Thomasville Missionary Baptist Association.

Live Oak Choirs will render the music and the Rev. J.W. Greene Jr. is pastor.
