ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia  has announced the  names of students from Summer 2014 who have earned the academic status of Dean’s List and Presidential Scholar.

Students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean’s List.

The Presidential Scholar List includes those who have maintained a perfect score of 4.0.

Both designations require that students take at least 14 credit hours and receive no unsatisfactory or incomplete grades.

Area students on the Dean’s List include: Jessica Lindsey Mead and Jordan Odum Browning, both of Moultrie.

Area students on the Presidential Scholar List were: Kari Elizabeth Saunders, Avery Elizabeth Castellow and Christopher Blake Wiggins, all of Moultrie.
