Joseph Curtis Willis, 67, of Moultrie, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Eddie Dee and the Rev.Jimmy Hiers officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Carl Ward, Johnny Holt, Daniel Thomas, Steve Braswell, Tommy Thompson, Joe Tye and David Swilley.
Honorary casketbearers will be James Baggett, Geneva Baggett, Jim Miles and Diane Miles.
Born Oct. 21, 1944, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late William Terry Willis and Cora Lee Williams Willis. He was a self-employed mechanic and attended Christian Crusade Church.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Edwin Willis.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Crosby Willis of Moultrie; two sons, William Howard Willis of Acworth, Ga., and Bobby Joe Willis of Moultrie; one stepson, Shawn Andrew Crosby of Tallahassee; two sisters, JoAnn Thompson and husband Ernest of Moultrie and Sue Carol Braswell and husband Steve of Albany; four grandchildren, William Justin Willis, Haley Michelle Willis, Zakary Allen Willis and Joseph Luke Willis; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
