13 Diving Tigers heading
to Region 3 Championships

MOULTRIE – Moss Farms Diving coach Yauheni Karaliou will take 13 of his Tigers to the USA Diving Junior Region 3 Championships to be held Saturday and Sunday in Tallahassee.
The baker’s dozen of Diving Tigers will be vying for berths in the Zone B Championships that will be held June 5-8 at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
The top 15 in each event this weekend will advance to Zones.
Those who will compete for Moss Farms in Tallahassee are:
• Amelia Gregory, 12-13 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Ansley Lane, 12-13 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Ruby DeMott, 12-13 girls, 3-meter.
• Beck Gregory, 14-15 boys, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Selah Huante, 14-15 boys, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Kendall Deloach, 16-18 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Jewel Hart, 16-18 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Maggie Strange, 16-18 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Elizabeth Ann Hobby, 16-18 girls, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Landon Griffin, 16-18 boys, 1-meter and 3-meter.
• Zechariah Ledl, 16-18 boys, 1-meter an 3-meter.
• Nora Kate Taylor, 11-and-under, 1-meter.
• Richard Murphy, 11-and-under, 1-meter.
Hart, Huante and Beck Gregory also will among the 20 divers who will compete in the Region 3 Tower Invitational that will be held on Friday.
Moultrie’s ElliReese Niday also will compete in the Region 3 Championships and the Tower Invitational.
Beck Gregory will be out to duplicate his first-place overall finish at the 2024 Region 3 Championships, which were held in Athens.
DeMott and Amelia Gregory tied for first overall last year in Athens.
This year’s Junior National Championships will be held July 25-August 3 in Mission Viejo, Calif.
