The Colquitt County middle school girls golf team took first place in the recent tournament sponsored by Lee County at River Pointe Golf Club in Albany. The Lady Packers winning score of 95 included a 46 by Blakely Hatcher and a 49 by Allie Mobley. Lyla Wilson shot a 52 and Bailey Duke a 53. Coffee was second with a 97. Teams from Lowndes, Worth County and Crisp County also took part. The middle school girls will play next on Monday, March 24, in the region tournament, which will be held at Sunset County Club.
