MOULTRIE – Summer opportunities for kids of all ages are available in the community. The Colquitt County School District’s Summer Camp Connections can help families find activities for their kids that are fun, meaningful, adventurous, and fit their summer schedules.
On Tuesday, March 25, organizations from all over will join the school district to offer a one-stop shop for families to learn about and sign up for summer activities. Families can visit booths showcasing day camps, weeklong camps, short classes, or activities, all under one roof. New, this year, is the addition of Dalton’s food truck, Kona Ice, and the Moultrie Library Book Mobile.
Organizations like ABAC’s Georgia Museum of Agriculture, Packer Cheerleading, Georgia Peach Elite, Camp Invention and PCOM will be ready to sign kids and teens up for summer fun. Also, look for the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, 4-H and the Arts Center.
Summer activities will be available for children from kindergarten through high school age. There will be opportunities for teens to sign up for camps like cybersecurity, martial arts, or PCOM’s Opportunities Academy.
Families who attend the event will be entered into drawings for door prizes from participating organizations like discounted registration fees.
Summer Camp Connections is happening, at Southern Regional Technical College’s Moultrie Campus, from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
