teams take 8-0 victories

MOULTRIE – The Colquitt County middle school Black soccer teams took a pair of 8-0 victories on Wednesday at Lowndes.
Both the girls and boys teams remain unbeaten at 5-0.
The girls team was led by Kayly Garcia who scored three goals.
Emily Garcia added two goals.
Dyi James, Shaila Molina and Thania Sanchez each scored one goal.
The boys team jumped out to a 6-0 halftime lead and added two more goals after the break.
Hudson Champion scored three times and added two assists for the Packers.
Daniel Perez got Colquitt County’s first goal with 24:40 left in the first half with Champion credited with his first assist.
Champion then scored the Packers next two goals at 23:54 and 19:58. Both were unassisted.
Israel Hernandez got the next Colquitt County goal with Champion assisting.
Champion scored his final goal with 11:35 remaining in the half. It was unassisted.
Perez got the final Colqutt County goal of the half with 10 seconds remaining on a free kick.
Trotter Tomlinson made it 7-0 with a goal with 22:07 left in the game.
Brandon Mata’s goal with 12:45 remaining closed out the scoring.
The middle school Black teams will play next on Wednesday, February 19, when Valdosta visits Packer Park.
