MOULTRIE — The Moultrie City Council recognized winners of the Downtown Christmas Parade during Tuesday’s council meeting.

The meeting had been postponed from the previous Tuesday because of the approaching winter weather.

Winners were named for first, second and third places in five categories.

1st Place: Odom Elementary School

2nd Place: Colquitt Christian Academy 

3rd Place: C. A. Gray Junior High School

Churches

1st Place: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 

2nd Place: Hopewell Baptist Church 

3rd Place: Lifespring Community Church

1st Place: Ward and Cherry’s Fabulous Lights

2nd Place: Moultrie YMCA
