Published 2:40 pm Monday, January 27, 2025

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Moultrie attorney William G. “Billy” Fallin on his passing at the age of 92.

A member of the Georgia Bar since 1959, Mr. Fallin began his legal career in his hometown of Moultrie, which continued for more than six decades in the firm now known as the Law Offices of Fallin & McIntosh. In addition to his law practice, he served his community in many areas of leadership, as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives and as chair of the Colquitt County Board of Commissioners, the Moultrie Housing Authority, the Colquitt County Economic Development Authority and Colquitt County Arts Center.

Mr. Fallin also served his country in the Army during the Korean War. In 1976, he was recognized as Colquitt County’s Man of the Year.
