ATLANTA — A Barney resident won more than $3.7 million on a scratch-off game bought in Valdosta, the Georgia Lottery announced Friday.

The resident, who was not identified, won the top prize on the 2^nd Edition Billionaire Club scratch-off game. The player purchased their $30 ticket at Quick Change at 18374 Valdosta Highway in Valdosta. They claimed their winnings on Jan. 2 and selected the lump sum cash option for $3,757,786.42.

The prize was the largest of several the Georgia Lottery announced Friday and the only one from this general area.

A Jefferson player revealed the top prize on another scratcher, Multiplier Madness. They purchased their ticket at Corner Station at 9195 Jefferson Street in Commerce, and claimed their winnings on Jan. 3 for $2 million.

In the Dec. 31 Fantasy 5 drawing, a single ticket hit the $150,000 jackpot. The lucky ticket was purchased at Walmart, 1681 Eatonton Road in Madison.

A Mega Millions player matched four of the five winning numbers and the Mega Ball in the Dec. 31 drawing, winning $10,000. The ticket was purchased at West End General Store, 2881 Jerusalem Church Road in Jasper. 

Georgia 5 players also won $10,000 prizes by matching all five numbers in order on cards purchased in Jonesboro and McDonough.
