HARTSFIELD — Sinner Friend Missionary Baptist Church of Hartsfield will observe its Annual Men’s Day Program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12.

The messenger for the occasion will be the Rev. Justin Lucas of Sylvester.

Lucas was born Aug. 20, 1991, to Wendy Toomer and John Lucas. Born and raised in Anderson City, Worth County, with the help of his grandmother Geraldine Toomer, he came from humble beginnings. 

“Growing up, his grandfather, Robert Lee Toomer Sr., always said, ‘Wendy, there’s something special about that boy!’ He saw early on that Elder Lucas was different. He has always been loving, caring, and an advocate for others,” the church said in a press release.

Lucas is the founder and pastor of The Church Without Walls A.O.H located in Sylvester. He is also the CEO of L & H Community Outreach. He’s married to Brianna M. Lucas and an amazing father to their children, the church said.
