MOULTRIE — On Christmas Day, Save-A-Lot, in collaboration with several local partners, hosted a free Christmas dinner, which drew approximately 300 people.

The partners that made the event possible were Hope Ministry, Moultrie Mennonite Fellowship, NAMI and United Way of Moultrie, along with other community organizations that donated and helped.

The dinner was held from 1 to 4 p.m., in the grocery store’s parking lot and was open to everyone. Guests were served a warm meal, given gifts, listened to Christmas carols and received a spiritual message.
