The annual Veterans Day ceremony was held, on the courthouse square, on Monday. Several organizations laid wreath to honor local veterans. Also, during the presentation students from Stringfellow Elementary School performed two songs. The Rev. Richard Wright, commander of American Legion Post 324 and pastor of the First United Methodist Church was the speaker for the event.
