MOULTRIE — A parade welcoming home local Olympian Carson Tyler has been rescheduled from its original date.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, in downtown Moultrie.

Following the parade, Moultrie Mayor Bill McIntosh, along with members of the City Council and County Commission, will sign a joint resolution and Tyler will be presented with a Key to the City.

Tyler, an alumnus of the Moose Moss Diving Tigers, competed last week in the men’s springboard diving event, placing fourth, and in the preliminaries of the men’s platform diving event during the Olympics in Paris.
