Eli Faison will team with Mack Hathcock to form one of the 58 teams in the 70th Ramsey Pidcock Invitational that will open its two-day run on Saturday, July 27, at Sunset Country Club.

MOULTRIE — Neither of the winning teams of the last two Ramsey Pidcock Invitationals are in the field for the 70th edition of the event that will run Saturday and Sunday at Sunset Country Club.

But the twosome of Eli Stripling and Andrew Eunice are back and will seek their third championship on Sunset’s 6,436-yard course. Stripling and Eunice won in 2013 with a 130, but shaved four strokes off of that score when they won in 2021 with 126. Since 2003, only a 125 turned in by Sam Hogan and Allen Hampton in 2007 is better.
