MOULTRIE — Another roundabout may be coming to Moultrie. 

City Council has requested a special session for Tuesday, May 7, to discuss this project along with several other items. 

The proposed intersection for this new roundabout is 2nd St and Tallokas Se. 

With a price tag of $697,553.50, the funds are being provided by Georgia D.O.T., LMIG, and SPLOST 19 and 22 budgets. 

Green’s Backhoe Inc of Thomasville will be contracted to complete the project.

Also being discussed during the meeting will be the following agenda items: considering the District 10 Officers for the 2024-25 ballot, considering the sole bid for odorizer replacement, gas station #1 and considering several other budget amendments.

With the public session being held at 6:00 p.m., the meeting will take place at the Moultrie Municipal Building on the second floor.
