MOULTRIE — After two victims came forward, a Moultrie resident was arrested on child molestation charges.

Each victim was a niece to the 35-year-old male who is accused of taking advantage of his siblings’ children.

Micheal Morris, investigator with the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, said the initial incident was in 2014, but the situation came to light only after the most recent incident, which occurred on April 17.

Both of the cousins were interviewed, and Morris said a repeat pattern was apparent. Each of the girls was 13 years old when they were first victimized, he said.

The suspect is currently in the Colquitt County Jail.
