Plan for medical offices on Tallokas Road moves forward

MOULTRIE — The motion for the creation of a subdivision on Tallokas Road passed during Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
Land lot 338 of the 8th land district in Moultrie is going to be turned into medical offices.
Jeter Partners, LCC was the applicant. They are going to be putting medical offices in the space.
Also approved during the city council meeting was the bid for the Spence field sewer force main/city tie-in project.
Costing $5,653,113.71, Doyle Hancock & Sons of Doerun will complete the project.
Funds for the sewer project are coming from the following places: ARPA, OPB, ARPA Direct Allotment, GEFA Loan and SPLOST 19 funds.
No citizens spoke during the public hearing on any of these matters.
On both items, councilwoman Lisa Clark Hill of District I, Post 1 moved the motion and Cole Posey, councilman of District II, Post 3, seconded.
