MOULTRIE — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host the 114th Annual Chamber of Commerce Meeting and Community Awards Presentation.

This highly anticipated event will take place at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council Event Center on Tuesday, March 12.

“The Chamber Annual Meeting is a significant occasion to honor and celebrate the community’s outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the area, making it the best place to live and work,” the chamber said in a press release.

The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for cocktails and silent auction, followed b sy dinner at 7 p.m.

The chamber will present several community awards to commend individuals for their contributions. The community awards are comprised of Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Agribusiness Person of the Year, Colquitt County Rockstar, Committed to Colquitt County, Heart of Colquitt County, and Partners in Progress.

The selection committee of former awards recipients will review the nominations submitted by the community and make the final selection.

This year’s ticket cost is $50 per ticket, and only 275 tickets are available. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, March 1. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce at 116 First Ave. S.E. and online at https://www.moultriechamber.com/annual-banquet/.
