City council to consider rezoning for Tallokas Road subdivision

MOULTRIE — A major subdivision may be coming to Tallokas Road.

Land lot 338, located in the 8th land district of Colquitt County, was rezoned to a neighborhood business district (C1) from a multi-family residential district (R1) during the City Council meeting on Jan. 16.
Jeter Partners, LLC was the applicant for the rezoning, as well as this new proposal for a subdivision.
The public hearing regarding the proposed subdivision will be conducted during Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
Also being discussed will be the bid for Spence Field Sewer Force Main/City Tie-In Project. Funded by a combination of ARPA OPB, ARPA Direct Allotment, GEFA Loan and SPLOST 19 funds, this project will cost $5,653,113.71.
Doyle Hancock & Sons of Doerun will assist with this project.
Anyone with questions or concerns regarding these project are encouraged to attend the City Council meeting, held at the Moultrie Municipal Court at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
