All fruit and produce farmers, meat producers, home cottage businesses, artists, and creative makers are welcome to participate.

Handmade items cannot be made from a kit and home baked items cannot be from a box mix. Only locally sourced items will be accepted. Some limitations apply and all vendors must have current licenses and certificates pertinent to their business. All rules and regulations under the Cottage Food License may be found at https://rules.sos.ga.gov/GAC/40-7-19.

MCCPRA will provide spaces up to 10×10 per vendor for $20 each Saturday for the 2024 season. Vendors are responsible for providing tables, chairs and any display cases or shelving needed. Vendors who wish to sell out of open-bed pick-up trucks will be considered a space.

Non-profits are invited to register to set up information booths at no charge, but no product sales or solicitation is allowed.

Applications must be received by March 1 for the Opening Market, April 6.

If approved, all fees and vendor agreements must be returned no later than March 20. After March 1, vendors must pay for space by the Friday a week prior to each market date.

All products must be approved by the Market Committee for a vendor to participate. Once approved all vendors will be required to sign a vendor agreement.

The goal of the Community Market is to give vendors an ongoing opportunity to sell locally sourced fresh fruits and vegetables, home grown meats and other goodies, jewelry, arts and crafts, and clothing. In addition, this will provide the community with a source for these items, all in one place, on a regular basis, and most especially a space to engage with one another.

MCCPRA will promote these markets with social media promotions, local and regional publications, and local and regional associations to get the word out to as many shoppers and customers as possible.

This market will be free to the public and will be “of, for and by” the community. To request an application call Connie Fritz at 229-668-0028 or email connie.fritz@mccpra.com.
