AG_Farm Service Agency to host loan workshops (copy)

MOULTRIE — The US Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency will host four farm loan information sessions in South Georgia to tell agricultural producers about the capital assistance options available to start, expand or enhance an agricultural operation.

Arthur Tripp Jr., state executive director of the Farm Service Agency, and his staff will provide an overview of current USDA farm loan programs and how to apply.

Sessions will be held:

• 10 a.m. Jan. 17 at the Tift County USDA Service Center, 1468 Carpenter Road S. in Tifton.

• 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Terrell County USDA Service Center, 955 Forrester Drive in Dawson.

• 10 a.m. Jan. 18 at the Miller County Extension Office, 406 W. Crawford St. in Colquitt.

• 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Colquitt County USDA Service Center, 350 Veterans Parkway N., Building 3, in Moultrie.

The in-person information sessions are free and open to the public. Producers planning to attend a session should email GAOutreach@usda.gov to RSVP or for any questions.
