The Moultrie-Colquitt County Board of Directors will meet at noon Dec. 6 on the second floor of the Chamber of Commerce building, 116 First Ave. S.E.

The South Georgia Governmental Services Authority will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in the City of Thomasville Council Chambers Overflow Room, 144 E. Jackson St. in Thomasville.

Humane Society relies on the charity of the community

First Moultrie Holiness Deliverance Church is accepting donations for its yearly Christmas give-away.

The give-away will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 23 at 920 MLK Jr. Drive N.W.

Between now and then, the church asks for donations of new toys, clothes, bicycles or monetary gifts.
