THOMASVILLE, Ga. — Southwest Georgia Farm Credit recently announced that Jim Brown has joined the team.

Brown, who resides in Moultrie, joins Farm Credit as a senior commercial credit analyst in the Thomasville branch. He is a graduate of both Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Valdosta State University.

“Jim has the financial and analytical skills that will help our association continue to serve our clients,” said Patrick Deen, chief credit officer at Southwest Georgia Farm Credit. “His extensive farm credit experience, excellent communication skills and deep knowledge of credit risks make him an asset and ideal employee for the position.”

Headquartered in Bainbridge, Georgia, Southwest Georgia Farm Credit supports farmers, farm businesses, and rural property owners, providing safe, sound, dependable financing, the company said in a press release. The association is part of the Farm Credit System, a nationwide network of agricultural and rural lending institutions cooperatively owned by their borrowers.
