MOULTRIE, Ga. — The John Benning Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution celebrated the birthday of Gen. William Moultrie, a Revolutionary War general for whom the City of Moultrie is named, during Second Saturday festivities Nov. 13.

The ladies provided cake and cupcakes in honor of the celebration, and some came out in attire from the colonial era.
