DAR lends helping hand

- In the spirit of Christmas, the John Benning Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, based in Moultrie, shopped to replenish Hope House Pregnancy Care Center’s Mommy Mall where new mothers shop with points earned by attending parenting classes. The baby items along with a check were presented to Donna Collum, right, ministry coordinator for Hope House. DAR members making presentation were Jenni Carter, Florence Harrell and Jean Gay.
MOULTRIE, Ga. — In the spirit of Christmas, the John Benning Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, based in Moultrie, helped the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office with a gift-giving effort and supported the Hope House Pregnancy Center’s Mommy Mall.
