Alabama police officer surprised by alarm thumper

SPRINGVILLE, Ala. – Springville Police Department Sgt. Brian Williams hopped on an alarm call June 27 only to be surprised by what tripped the alarm – a kangaroo.
ROOdy the kangaroo lives at CareDan Farm in Springville along with goats, pigs, chickens and horses. My Farm Day is owned by Caren and Danny Davidson.

ROOdy, who was a Christmas present to Caren from Danny, was only 7 months old and 11 pounds when he arrived at the farm. When fully grown, the Davidsons anticipate ROOdy to weigh about 200 pounds and be 4-foot tall.
“When you arrive on an alarm call, it’s best to always be aware of your environment.. you never know what might be jumping around,” Springville Police Department shared on its Facebook page.
