PELHAM — Pelham Parkway Nursing Home was on emergency power Thursday afternoon after a storm knocked out electricity.
There were no reported injuries. Windows were blown out, and damage was not major, said Steve Sykes, Camilla city manager, who was at the site.
The Archbold Medical Center-affiliated facility also has roof damage, a medical center spokesman said, adding that all residents are safe.
Mitchell County emergency management agency staff set up a command post in Pelham, Sykes said.
