79 COVID-19 cases in Thomas County, now four deaths

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there are 79 COVID-19 cases in Thomas County, with four deaths. The most recent death that is that of an 82-year-old male who had underlying conditions, according to the DPH.
Archbold officials reported Tuesday that there have been 221 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 27 deaths.
The health care system also has had 710 negative test results. Of those who have tested positive, 130 are at home and 31 are patients at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
There are 208 patients waiting at home on test results.
From its Pinetree Boulevard screening site, Archbold has had 83 positive test results. There have been 360 negative test results from the Pinetree screening site. Another 126 people from the screening site are waiting on test results, and they will be notified by their primary care provider.
No patient at Brooks County Hospital or at Mitchell County hospital has a positive test result. There are six patients at Grady General who have tested positive.
No resident at either Glenn-Mor Nursing Home or Mitchell County Convalescent has tested positive. There have been 27 residents at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home to test positive.
