YMCA Spotlight: William Ullman (an update)

In September 2019, we posted a Moultrie YMCA spotlight, success story on a remarkable young man named William Ullman.
In review, you may remember the challenges that William has faced after being hit by a drunk driver at age 10. Now at age 40, he is still as determined to challenge himself with big goals. Some of his goals reached, at just 6 months in, are now being able to lift his right leg, substantial balance improvement, more strength and energy; and he can now walk with a cane (not his walker) at home with some help!!
William continues to faithfully dedicate himself to his Y workouts, using the NuStep, Bike and Leg Press machines in the Wellness Center here at the Y.
Another of William’s motivating goals was to surprise his brother Theodore, in the US Air Force, when he came home in December on leave. And yes, it was a pleasant surprise for his brother to see how far William has come!!
So, be encouraged in 2020 to set some goals and be challenged by them! The YMCA may be just the place for you to reach your goals too in 2020.
