The event has been going on for 33 years. It is in memory of the Rev. R.V. Williams of Adel, who pastored many churches in the area for many years. He was an avid lover of ole time gospel music.

The Rev. Ken Williams, his son, continues to honor his father by having this sing each year to honor the memory of his father’s birthday and his own birthday.

The event will feature The Singing Cookes of Kingsport, Tenn., and New Tradition of Nashville, Ga., along with special guest singer/songwriter Joyce Croft of Valdosta.
