Arrests

• Cody Richardson Gignac, 29, 2014 Funston-Sale City Road, was charged Jan. 21 with possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

• David Randall Deal, 62, 800 Bay Road, was charged Jan. 23 with simple battery.

• Donovan Ansley, 30, 1883 County Line Road, Doerun, was charged Jan. 22 with possession of meth, two counts of second-degree burglary and possession of a drug related object.

• Jim Allen Carter, 44, 932 Roundtree Bridge Road, Norman Park, was charged Jan. 23 with theft by receiving stolen property and theft by deception.

• Trevor Lee Cook, 47, 2751 Coolsprings Road, Norman Park, was charged Jan. 21 with two counts of third-degree cruelty to children, aggravated assault and obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone call.

• Jermias Ruiz Cinto Polando, 28, 177 Cherry Avenue, was charged Jan. 23 with driving without a license.

Moultrie Police

Charge dropped

• A charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon was dropped against Eric Kendall Terry, 33. Moultrie police blamed a paperwork error that had Terry listed as a convicted felon in the state criminal database when in fact he was not.

Arrests

• Alex Terrell Jordan, 23, 626 26th Avenue S.E. Apt. L, was charged Jan. 21 with aggravated assault.

• Kendra Patrice Lyles, 32, 517 Fourth Avenue N.W., was charged Jan. 23 with driving under the influence (DUI), expired tag and failure to stop for stop sign.

• Leroy McBride, 57, 801 First Avenue S.E., was charged Jan. 21 with second degree burglary.
