Empty Bowls event set for Feb. 23

Members of the Moultrie Service League met recently at the Colquitt County Arts Center and painted bowls for the Empty Bowls fundraiser.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Members of the Moultrie Service League met recently at the Colquitt County Arts Center and painted bowls for the Empty Bowls fundraiser.

Their bowls and many others will be made available for attendees at the event to be held Feb. 23.

Bowl painting is free for all 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday until Feb. 14. Call the Arts Center at 229-985-1922 to schedule your paint day.

Proceeds benefit the Colquitt County Food Bank. The event is sponsored by Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Learn more at colquittcountyarts.com.
