MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Overcoming Faith Chapel Holiness Church will hold its Men and Women’s Day celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Missionary Patricia Lewis Lee will be the speaker.

A member of Lewis Cathedral Church of God in Christ, under Pastor J.W. Lewis, Lee served an apprenticeship under Mother Fannie Mae Kendrix to become a missionary. She is married to Horace Lee III, and they have three children and a host of other family members.

Lee said she was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 but astounded doctors and nurses with a full recovery.

“Being a nurse you think that a diagnosis of any disease is what it is,” she said, “but God has the last word, Amen.”
