Birthday celebration

The public is invited to a birthday gospel celebration for Pastor Lee Norris Brown at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at St. Mary’s Freewill Baptist Church, 1112 Seventh Ave. N.W. featuring The Georgia Boys of Moultrie, The Brown Brothers of Valdosta, God’s Chosen Disciples of Albany and other groups and choirs.

Christmas musical

Lewis Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 904 Third St. N.W., will celebrate its pastor, Superintendent J.W. Lewis, with a Christmas musical appreciation program at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1. The event is being held in loving memory of the church’s first lady, Missionary Irene Lewis.

Featured will be Mother Gracie Leonard and the Leonard Brothers; Mary Blanks and The Gospel Harmonettes, of Cordele; Rev. Nathan Barell and Reality, of Ashburn; Next Level, of Albany; and other groups and choirs.

Grief support

The Grief Support Group for miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss is held on the second Thursday of each month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Colquitt Regional Educational Services Building, 13 Hospital Park in Moultrie.
