Rec Authority

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority will meet at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Ryce Community Center, 305 Seventh St. N.W. This is the authority’s monthly meeting.

Health Department to close Thursday

ALBANY, Ga. — All 14 Southwest District Health county health departments, programs, services and clinics will be closed Thursday, Nov. 21, to allow staff to participate in day-long enrichment, wellness and training activities. This includes the Colquitt County Health Department and Ellenton Clinic.

The facilities will reopen during their next regularly scheduled business hours.

Gymnastics Fun Day

The Moultrie YMCA is hosting a gymnastics Fun Day event 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, in the gymnastics center. Gymnastics lessons, crafts and games are all part of the fun-filled day.

Boys and girls ages 4 and up are welcome to attend and please bring a sack lunch.

Parents, to register you must fill out a permission form and pay the fee. Event fee is $18 for members or $21 potential members.
